Time to jump in. I've looked at the site a while and like the vibe. I've been working on a couple of projects for some time and while I'm fortunate to be in the Sacramento area with a bunch of good shops and talent, I'm looking to do more work myself. I'm hoping to pick a few brains and contribute what I can while I'm here. I'll be lurking for now. I've got a 1964 Thunderbird mild custom and a 1960 Merc Commuter that I'm in way over my head with. The Ford was easy to the point that not only did I not learn much, but I finished with more confidence than I should have, and then took on too big a project. I do most of the mechanical work myself and have farmed out body / paint.
