I'm new here and working on my 40 Ford Tudor Sedan. It has a 53 Flattie in it and I've converted it to 12V with an alternator due to it toasting the old 6V generators. It also helps with the cranking power to start it.

The first pic is my sons stroller, the second is my 40. I'm in the process of trying to lower it now.

I think I did good, we traded a 2001 PT Cruiser with over 100K miles for it.

Yeah, my wife and I though we did good. The PT probably booked for 6,000 maybe 6,500 if I was lucky and we went to the Nats in Louisville and saw another 40 that a guy had just paid $9,500 for and when he pulled off my wife said if that is worth 9,500 then what is our's worth, I politely said, "It doesn't matter cuz it ain't going nowhere." and she said "I fully agree, it's at home now and we did good on getting rid of the PT!"

Hey, Deb As your first assignment as Moderator maybe you could explain to me the various levels of greeting card forums? I just logged in for what I think may have been the first time in a few days, and found that the old forums went public for five minutes, then went private again -- and now this forum is new, and public? Am I understanding it correctly?
