Glad to find this. I am new to the group but have been driving my 54 for 10 years now. I initially bought it sight unseen only hearing rumors that it languishing as a yard ornament. They told me to bring a tow truck, after making the arrangements with the sellers permisssion I brought tools instead. I had never seen the car before my arrival but it was a supposed ran when parked deal. Aired the tires up drained and bled brakes installed shifter and drove home next day. Lots of cars have come and gone since but that was the start of my life with the 54 its here to stay.
