I bought some new paint guns and there was this spot on the roof I needed New Paint. Today I went out to the garage sanded the roof and re-taped over the Surfer Cross and scallops and laid down some black fogging around the Cross then painted Silver Base,then Silver Flake,then Kandy Tangerine and now I'm klear coating the roof of my 59 El Camino. I couldn't just go to the Pile-Up with last years paintjob.
I love this car, hopefully I'll be able to see it in person sometime. Lookin great man. I just bought a 59 myself and your car is inspiration out the whazoo.

hey Rick,It was the same paint except for the center where it still was Kandy Gold, I needed to mach the Kandy Red Flames with some more Kandy and fill some new paint in the center. Also remember I bought a new Paint gun. See you at the Pile-Up....

Hey John! Your not gonna believe it but - your post is right above my post Gary 4T950 Chevy Guy . Man, can you belive it! I read where one guy guy 2 tickets in a matter of minutes. So I did a thread telling about my experience being pulled over on Houghton road in Tucson when you get off at exit 275. I don't know if I ever told you about that one.
