Believe me when I say this is just a "timed" run for fun. I want to be tech'd too. There's no way I have all the safety equipment I need. I might be placed in the open Streetrod class too. I just have the basics in safety equipt. No roll bar, firesuit, scattershield, drive loop, fuel shut off. Just long pants and shirt, full face Helmet, entry fee and a good time!

Go to landracing.com. Click on forums. Scroll down to ECTA Rules. About the fourth thread down is Miniumns for Willmington. This should give you a hint what you will need.

Guys, now the weather calls for rain all day Saturday. Crap!! Wish I could go today, maybe on Sunday. I'll figure it out and have a good time no matter what!

So? Did you run it? What did it turn? How was the track?

I went out there on Saturday but was not able to run due to the rain. A few did get to run times but it was 44 degrees and storming most of the day. I waited until mid afternoon, then bagged it. Very disapointing. I believe they did run on Sunday, but could not get there due to other scheduling . hope to get in the next meet in a few months.

To bad about that. Keep us informed. I am really interested in what the 292 does. Thanks

You should have stayed to the end Saturaday. I believe that everyone got to make at least one run and many got to make two. Sunday was not as windy but still cold and showery.Got started about10:30 we left at 12:30 no rain but cloudy and cold.Worst part before we got up to Columbus sun was out and temp. in mid 60's.
