New man from SC

    very interested in suspension how 2s for the 49-52 chevys. i have a 51 fleetline deluxe 4dr got a 6"block in the back and need to drop the nose to get her on down. Cut the coils ok but loking for suggestions on how many?

    I think on the 51 you don't want to cut more then 2 coils out most people recommend 1.5

    Welcome to the HAMB how about some pictures of that 51

    thanks for the info. I will try 2 coils. I will get a few pictures out as soon as the son gets home to guide me through.also have a air cooler in which i dont have a clue about. looks like a cheapie verson of a thermador. got it from a man at work who remembers his dad buying it before driving to ca to see his brother in 1953

  5. Welcome from West Georgia. "Fatman Fabrication" has dropped uprights (spindles), combine those with lowered or cut coils for more drop. I'm fix'en to install some on my '51 soon. Good Luck.
