    All -

New member here from east TN. Currently building a 351C powered 65 Falcon and enjoying the little monor headaches that go along with it. Looking forward to joining in on the info here -

Welcome "big dan". I might add with the 351C you will need a good radiator and a "big fan."

Thanks for the interest. Just tired of looking under every Ford hood and seem to see the same small block . . . . So I figured I would go a different route. Starting to attempt headers by "ME" next week so I'll start a thread and see where it goes.

Tubing, flanges and collectors are on the way. Gonna take a swing at making my own headers, so this should be interesting. I post a thread along the way for all to critique:D

Started on the custom headers for the 351C in the 65. Want to maintain a stock look to the shock towers but run larger 2" tubes, so I did some minor t******* to the center rib on the shock towers but thats as far as I plan to go. Flanges, combo bends etc are 16 ga from Speedway. Started on LH side first; installed engine and head for mockup, tacked flange in place then removed head for better visibility. Header is now fabbed but will have to add a flange on the lower 2 tubes and split the flange between #2 and #3 to make the header removeable. Progress is progress, though.

    Welcome big dan
Why don't you start a header build thread over on the main message board so more people can see it and join in. Your intro thread is a bit hidden here on the Intros page.
    Cheers.

I've made a bit more progress ;) so I'll take the advice and start a build thread - thanks for looking!
