Hello everyone! I've been watching this forum for a long time and finally I decided to register to make it easier to see all of the new posts in here.

I'm a young fellow from Finland (Currently 20 years old) and I've always been interested in Traditional Rods, Customs and especially Drag Cars, so this place is just for me! I don't do any of that social media stuff at all so I'm happy to see that this place is really active with a good number of new posts made every day.

I'm currently building a 1962 Chevy II 2D Sedan that will look like an early to mid '60s Drag Racer. Depending on a few details I think it would fit either in Gasser or Altered classes when it's done.

    Thanks for having me!

Thanks guys, this is a great place!

Well my Chevy is in the early stages. It's a car that was sold as new here in Finland in 1962 and these things were almost always four door models, just like mine used to be. Now I'm in the process of turning it into a 2D Sedan...
Someone might ask why I'm doing all of this work, but I'd like to say that finding this cheap Two Door Chevy II in here is pretty much impossible. As a student I'm doing this on a very limited budget which means that I'm doing everything I can myself, and I think that's fun and it's also what Hot Rodding is all about (To me at least) ;) !

Here it is when I bought it:

Driver's side is almost done and co-driver's side is not too far from being done either...

I also built Mini Tubs myself as the aftermarket pieces were too expensive...
