One of your members recommended the HAMB to me and said it was the best thing to come along sisce lap dances, so I will give it a try. My name is Tim ***mings and I live in Wellington,Texas. I have helped a few buddies build thier cars and I built and sold a 34 ford 3 window. I currently have a 29 Ford truck, a 68 chevy pickup with a 427, and am currently gathering parts and ideas for a model a modified lakes roadster. I hope to get a few ideas from all of you that been around longer then myself.
Dont you play guitar for the NEW Gun&Roses Welcome aboard, lets see some pic`s. Oh and lap dances rate pretty high in my book, especially if they`re free!!
Thanks for the welcome, I'm kinda new to this type of forum hopfully I will not make too many mistakes.
no can't make it I got one of those jobs that require you to be on call 24/7 wish I could I have heard allot about the events from FLATTOP sound like a hell of good time
29 truck is just in the corner of my shop, My aunt in Montana gave it to me and I had to drive to Montana to get it. It was sitting beside her house since 1948. It needs to be stripped and turned into some thing besides a truck.
I want to thank everybody that has welcomed me into the HAMB. hopefully I will have something to contribute as well as get some good ideas for my future project.
Welcome to the HAMB! Dont worry about mistakes, my parents tolds me I was one and I been trying to live up to that ever since!! Cool history on the 29, makes it even more special.
welcome aboard buckethead...however, If I were you I wouldn't mention that you know FLAT TOP, he's a shady character if you you know what I mean...
welcome mr. bucket! and glad to have you on the hamb. old buckethhead forgot to tell u-all he is a great welder and fabricator. he has helped me many times on projects and will be a great ***et to the hamb. and yes i'm a bit on the shady side !
You're right about the lap dance thing. I'd offer you one, but you'll have to pay the chick. Good place for info, and or a good heated discussion. Welcome Tim, or should I say buckethead Whoever lead you this way did good.
Hey Buckethead welcome to the HAMB or what my wife calls my addiction. A friend of Flattop? I guess we can over look that reference. Ha!Ha! Happy Trails, Mick
Wellington is a couple of hundred miles north of Coleman on Hwy. 83. The truck in question is in need of a complete restoration. I can't decide if I want to make a gas hauler or a old wench truck, or use the sheet metal on a pickup frame. Not much you can do to make a 1 ton look good. Any suggestions.
Flattop claims that I am a welder, well if his rearend flies out the back of his 32 I did't do that welding. Again I want to thank everyone for making me feel welcome to the HAMB.
"old buckethhead forgot to tell u-all he is a great welder and fabricator." Ain't that a Coincidence. I am a Fabricator/Welder, and half the Jack***es I work with call me "Buckethead" because they say it would take a Five gallon Bucket to make a hat for me. I just tell the mouthy *******s that since I'm half again as smart as they are, naturally my head is a little bigger
Flattop told me about a minor mishap at the drags. He didn't mention any names. **** happens, most of the time when to many people are watching.
[ QUOTE ] Thanks for the welcome, I'm kinda new to this type of forum hopfully I will not make too many mistakes. [/ QUOTE ] Nice, polite intro with good info...no mistakes so far. In fact, you're way ahead of most newbies. Welcome to the HAMB.
no flt-blk, buckethead does not know the lizard, he stays cooped up to much but maybe the hamb will bring him out of his shell, oh i mean {bucket}!! i bet we can get him introduced to the lizard some how.
damn, it only took about ten seconds to come up with about 20 responses or questions about building a truck for old wenches. i didn't even realize you knew my ex. in the end, though, i just decided to rack it up to a typo about a winch truck and say welcome, even if you are flattop's friend.
Welcome to the HAMB. i'm a newbie here too, and i guess i made some mistakes in my intro, but lets not get into that. anyways, you said you have a 29 Ford truck? if you got some pics i would love to see them.
