Just joined a few days ago. I live in Hartford CT and am slowly working on a '62 Mercury Comet. So far the only custom touches are a '60 Comet grille and a spray-boom white repaint so the new body panels would match.
I'm currently trying to track down a 200ci/C4 combo to replace the stock 170 (damaged head at where the exhaust manifold bolts up).
One of these days I'll get around to flaming her, and getting some pics that aren't 7 months out of date.

    Welcome from another Nutmegger.

I think General Gow here on the HAMB has a blue one like that. He's up in Massachusetts.

I used to live in Hartford, right on Kenyon in between Asylum and Elizabeth. That pic sorta reminds me of Whitney Street...

Damn, I'm impressed. You nailed it in one. That was taken out front of my old apartment on the 100 block of Whitney.

Nice Comet. I'm impressed how clean that looks. Let me know if you need any drivetrain parts. I may have finally located a new one ofr mine so I'll have a 170/merc-o-matic combo & '64 Comet rearend that I don't need.

Well, I used to go to school at Noah Webster and was a regular at Whitney Pizza. I left in '84 after graduating from NWC High School.

it is pretty clean. from south jersey. the ride back was a hoot. i'll have to tell you about it sometime. mine is a 144ci 2spd auto. runs really well, gets 25 mpg. need to get the generator rebuilt and get it reregistered after a winter of slumber...
