Hey all, My names jack. i'm currently a freshman at Shippensburg University. I'm pursuing a business degree. After that i'll probably do something with alternative energy (I know... I know...). I really don't have too much to say about myself. I like working with my hands, so i'm always working on something. I decided to register here because there seem to be a ton of knowledgeable members, and I have a ton of (probably juvenile) questions. Currently my daily beater is a 1989 Ranger shortbed (2.9, stick, 4wd) that may be a mid-travel prerunner some day. I don't have too much to say about my ranger besides having to drive it 200 miles with only fourth gear, and then being able to tow my bronco with it. after the new trans. My baby (and solution to keeping my savings spotless) is a 1978 bronco I got for a deal (without telling my parents) back when I had my permit. The PO basically rebuilt her. Then she sat for 10 years. So in its current condition: 460, newly rebuilt Holley 4010? 600cfm, 4-speed, np205 (i'm almost positive), new but dryrotted 35" mud tires on 15" aluminum rims, 6" lift done fairly right, stripped interior but perfect seats, rotted tub under an inch of bondo. She does run and drive with with the distributor seized 180 degrees and the wires switched around. I plan to do a restomod type deal with some mods from back in the day and some modern stuff. I'm also building a 1981 xv750 fat cafe type bike. My one project that's fairly close to being done.
