Hey all, I am new to the board here. I am from VT and have been building a 57 chevy truck with my dad for almost 10 years now. Well that's not entirely accurate. My dad and I bought the truck in '04 when I was in basic training and drove it as it was for about a year and a half and then tore it down in the fall of '06 to start the build. We finally got it back on the road in 2008 and when my dad retired last year and moved south I bought him out. It is a continuous project as I do not have the ability to buy every part I want and need all at once so I am driving it and enjoying it while upgrading parts here and there as I can. She is far from perfect but she is perfect for me! Well, aside from the problems she's giving me...but that's another story. Well I guess that is it for me for now. take care all. Justin
Welcome from the Left Coast, Justin! Building on a budget is a challenge today, but "drivin' while you're buyin" is a good way to see your project through to completion. Make your dad proud......
