In a post I read from 2013, Don Sevart was talking about his time running California Metal Shaping. and I am wondering if some of the tooling he had still exists If so, could Don or someone else make contact with me. I would appreciate it very much. Thanks Tom Rootlieb

I bumped the thread that Mr. Sevart posted in Oct 2013 back to the top. Maybe others will see it and know the answer to your questions. He hasn't been back on here since that post in 2013.

Thanks for your help. If I could find someone with knowledge of what became of the tooling for the grill shells they made it would be helpful. We worked a lot with Red (Arvid Tweet) after he left California Metal shaping and opened his own shop in Gardenia. All those guys were pretty amazing. And possibly we made your hood. We have made a lot of them over the last 43 yrs.

Sweet car. I suspected you had something else in your garage, more in line with what we do.

Tom, You may have better luck posting your inquiry about Mr. Sevard on the main discussion forum as not everyone reads this intro section. Good luck.
