Hello gents, ladies, short timers, and hambers with a long tooth... My name is "Woody" but yous guys can call me JOBBCORP. I am a member of the Throttlers of salt lake, not the town the area. I have been following the forums for some time and thought it was well past time to throw my humble opinion with the rest (however misguided it is)! I have enclosed a pic of my truck... it was built in a friends garage, and with help from friends took shape in only a couple of months, including your own LOUDPEDAL. (Thanks Kris, Tim, Dekon, Brandon, Cory and the rest)Hopefully it will give me some sort of justification for being here... Well here goes!

i'm a huge cadillac fan. more than i should be probably. so i am really interested in your engine choice. how'd you come across it? what made you choose it? how difficult is it to work with, and last, is it realiable? sorry for the barrage, just amped!

The caddy motor is an ovious choice, first of all I wanted a mill that was era correct, this engine could have been found as early as 49', second it makes great power, stock from my limited research produced up to 305 hp. and so far has been super realiable (it starts so thats a plus) It has been completely rebuilt using the stock forged crank as a corner stone, it is backed by a 700r trans and a 9". But what makes the engine even better is that not everyone has one... it not a bellybutton... i did not want a bellybutton hotrod!!!!!!!!

Woody, nice truck and welcome. I love the look. I've seen 4 hot rods now from the Throttlers and they're all******en and very creative! Are you guys coming out for the Hot-Rod-A-Rama in Tacoma in August?
