Hey all, I've been using this site for reference and research for some time. I'm actually into a little newer generation of cars than most of the folks here but I like the at***ude that I've seen in the threads. People seem to generally support others' ideas and help even if it's not the choice they would make.
A good example would be questions about the chevy 305. Most people on the various forums won't answer a question and just say get a 350. That's not the spirit of hotrodding to me. I'm 38 & probably not going to drive around doing burnouts or get into drag racing so a hot little 300 hp motor would probably more than meet my needs. I just don't see the point in turning away people who want to have a little fun, work with what they already have or make those first time mistakes on something they don't have a bunch of money into. Wow I wasn't expecting to write that much. Just wanted to thank those on here for the good work in supporting our hobby.
