Hello everyone, I'm a new guy. I'm 51 and a corporate regulatory manager by profession. That means that I'm responsible for all worker health and safety issues and all aspects of environmental compliance(I'm the designated felon). I've enjoyed vehicles all my life. I finally got a project to running stage and started attending rod runs with a vehicle in 1991(O.K. City Nats.). I have been going continuously since then.I prefer traditional hot rods especially open wheel roadsters in primer with mexican blanket upholstery and old trucks. I have built a 48 Chev. pickup, 32' Ford Highboy roadster and a 26'Ford fenderless touring. I currently drive a 48' chev pickup and I'm building a steel 26'-27' roadster pickup(lakes modified style) Major automotive events, Bonneville 2002, a lap of Indy, the H.A.M.B. Drags and cruised the grounds with Denise in "big olds" I'm a member of GoodGuys and an NSRA Safety Inspector. I drive what I build and anybody else's. I'm in the fellow pages under Rolla, Mo. If you need help when passing through give me a call. Sam

Greetings from Waynesville. If you're ever up over here, stop me and say hey. Drive the big grey 60 Buick flattop that showed up late at the HAMB drags.
I met you and your bro at the drags. Kinda figured you'd get here eventually. Welcome! Hope to see ya again soon. Love your pickup even tho your brother's is quicker.
Seeing the picture of your truck, I'm sure I passed you one Sunday afternoon on I-44. I was heading home (SE Mo) from the Lake. The truck looked good tooling up the road. Welcome to the HAMB.
Welcome- I got kin around Steelville but hadn't been there in 16 years. They ever have any rod runs a Maramac Springs(think that's the name of the park)? Cool park. I remember driving with my parents through Cuba in the early sixties. There was a banner over the main street: Welcome to Cuba - No Castro
I haven't been to the Jeff City Cruise since it left the Mall. No real reason, just haven't made it up there. I'm about done for this year. I plan to go to Quincy, Il. Oct/18. Sam
Thanks for including the photos. How was Kalamazoo? WZ Junk and I are looking for new places to go. We may head North next year, either Back to the Fifties or Kalamazoo. That would be Wz Junk and Mo Junk in my junk looking for more junk. Sam
Were you driving the 60 Starliner? Brothers truck is faster but I'm on a diet. I'll try to get him with power to weight ratio next year. Sam
