Hello my name is Chente I live in LA PUENTE CALIFORNIA
    I have a 1953 4door Customline 3speed manual trans.
My wife bought the car in Feb of this yr (my birthday and valentine gift).
I rewired the whole car (had Original wires) now all lights and gages works now.
worked on the motor so it runs strong (daily driven 100 miles a day).
    new trans and clutch, flywheel.
    new straight duel pipes.
new heavy duty starter, new radiator, new water pumps and hoses.
Im buliding the 1953 into a daily cruiser so me and my family can enjoy.

I am a owner of a internet radio program www.djchentemrog.com
also a member of the OLD MEMORIES EASTSIDE car club

Sounds like you you got a great wife too ! Sounds like she is a keeper !
My wife is the same way . She had a 2 car garage built for me because she couldn't stand me not being the car on my car due to rain and the heat of the summer .
Glad to see someone else loves fordors too ! Mine is a 55 Fairlane fordor .

Welcome from Oregon! Nice to see another West Coaster! I wanted to take my '53 out today but I was going to have to install outriggers so it would float from all the rain!

Welcome O.G., I used to drive my '56 F100 to work every day, also 100 miles a day. I grew up in Baldwin Park, so wasn't too far from you. Good luck fixing the rear end. When mine went out on my '56 Fairlane I replaced it with one from a '97 Blazer (4 inches narrower than the Fairlane).
