New member just bough my first 53 Ford Mainline

    Hi there H.A.M.B. the Name's Rob and I just got my first project car. a 1953 Ford Mainline. Flathead V8. She runs great, biggest project right now is the Interior. Anyone got any recommendations on Places to find Kits, upholstery carpet etc?

    Welcome from Alabama. I own several 53 Fords.. These a easy to work on and can be fun cars. As far as parts go to any larger book store/news stand and buy a publication called Hemmings Motor News.. It has every thing listed you might want.. Bobby..

    Thanks guys! I'm excited. Start work Saturday with Uncle Dave... finish the 12v conversion. Wires are run just most of them aren't connected. Driven her around the block a few times, motor is running strong. So once the wiring is done... it's new floor pans and upholstery. I'll post some pics once we get started and track the progress.
