Discussion in 'The Hokey Ass Message Board' started by beantoad, Feb 2, 2008.

  1. Been lurking here for a while, but now I'd like to ask your help .
Can anyone tell me what rear axle this is. Friends tell me its not a Ford , but it sure looks like one to me . A year or era would be helpful . I think the rear fill plug has been added . Thanks ( I hope the pics work )

There should be some numbers cast into the front between the webs.
    Looks like a 9" Ford to me...

  3. Thanks Flatman
I took another look and this time found some #'s

    WAA
    4
    4025B

On Kevinstang website I found WAB and WAR Ford cases and a #4025A
Not my exact #'s but enough to make me believe its an early 9" Ford . I"d appreciate it if someone can give me any more details , as I need to start my search for seals and brakes for it .
