Hello all. My name is Frank. I recently purchased my first hot rod which is a 1948 Chevrolet Fleetmaster Sport Coupe. I have experience in all sorts of cars and boats, basically anything with a motor that moves My old man has a 31 steel model A and a 39 Chevy coupe both street rodded. Im not new to forums so hopefully i dont make an *** of myself on here. The car. Comes with a long history which i was able to trace and even found a youtube video of the car http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=73MGQXKKAJ4 before someone began to hot rod it. Car was bought new in New Tripoli, PA by a man named Earl Stoss SR, who sadly p***ed away in 2007 and then the car was taken over by his son, Earl JR, who also p***ed in 2011. This is where i loose the car kinda. Apparently it was sold to a man in Long Island who began to hot rod the car, Mild 350, TH350, Late model GM 10 Bolt. All the right stuff done to it. Appears to have been done by a shop. This man i believe p***ed away as well and sold it to the man i bought it off of who only had it 3 months (maybe a family friend). Hopefully i can trace it to the hot rod shop and get some more info on it. Heres a side pic, ive uploaded more into my Gallery so if you are interested check em out. Anyway. Thanks for everything here. Now onto make a thread asking about hard to find parts.
OK, so why should you be the first guy here not to make an *** of yourself - that's what this place is for!!! Geeezzzz!!!! Enjoy your tiome here. Cheers.
