Struck a deal with Franco on the '31 pickup over the weekend, and finally got it home Wed night. We got lots of plans for the little truck to make it ours... er, Joyce's... but all come after drivng the hell outta it for a while. We totally dig this little truck, and we're glad we got to know Franco and Katie a little better in the process - just cool folks.

    Woo-hoo!

It looks perfect! Don't change a thing on it. It looks like the one Royal Shifter (Mark and Kelly) used to own. It's beautiful. Merry Christmas to you both! Casper.

That is a sweet truck. I have had several 30-31's and still have one. Hows the cab space with the firewall being sunk in so far? Is it auto or stick?

Yeah, it's that cool little pickup that RoyalShifter sent to Austin with Franco. The legroom's a little tight but not a problem... it's perfect for Joyce. It's automatic and will prolly stay that way. Not any time soon, but I eventually wanna get it into shiny color at some point... got some ideas. It'll also be real handy to have this one close by as I assemble my '31 fendered RPU... slowly but shirley.

    Can you tell I'm smiling?

    Happy Xmas!

Congrats to ya'll. That's a cool little truck with a ton of potential. And with some tweaks, should be plenty quick enough to keep her happy for a while!

If ya'll are driving it around today, stop by the shop.

This is what hot rodding is all about making sure cars don`t sit. When we were getting ready to move to Texas I realized I didn`t have enough money to finish the move so I
sold and traided my 32 coupe to Mark aka Royalshifter. The truck is a well built car and I loved it,but I just wasen`t feeling it like I thought.Well Long story short Im glad the truck went to some great people Blake and his wife Joyce. So everybody is happy and
the cars will be used like they should...As for me I have a smile on my face for I have a car that I have been after for years and its in my garage sitting right next to the Lightnin bug....Picks will follow soon.....Hot Rodding isn`t allways about the cars it the people you meet and the new friends that come along with it..............................

    Endsville Franco....................................

  21. Love the exhaust. Saved that pic for when I build a pickup after the 50, and the other 50 and . . . .

Hmm... I think I might know the car. I've heard rumors about you trying to get yer paws on a certain car around here. If you've aleady got something in the garage, that has to be it. So, congats all the way around!

    Hmmmm, Von franco.

To narrow it down to several vehicles, was it bought from Steve (El Jefe), Mike Young or Reggie?
