Like Ive said. He had wanted to make some changes but just didn't get around to it. So, I think I would like, in his honor, do the things to it he wanted...

Sorry for the loss of your father. Beautiful car. I had the same thing last summer but dad was a boat guy, so I had to buy his 54 Chris Craft to ensure it stayed with our family. So I feel ya....

Welcome, and sorry for your loss. Beautiful car, other than tires and possibly wheels I wouldn't change a thing. Unless it's a mechanical Hillborn or early Corvette style, injection is pretty much not mentioned around here, it can get threads locked or deleted. If you go that route, just don't show pics of it or talk about it and you'll be OK.

  5. Not allowed. Moriarity's finger is probably already twitching.

I have a Hilborn Mechanical injection system off a sprint car on my shelf I could make work also.
I may just keep it Carbed also.

I get it… take it easy on me.
I went the muscle car route for a while and am building a Firebird Formula with my kid.
But Street Rods are my roots…

Sorry for your loss John. I know it hurts. Love the 32 as is. If you make any changes move the rear end back a bit.

Sorry for the loss of your Dad. Mine p***ed 4 years ago come July 4th. He also left me his 32 coupe that he treasured for close to 50 years. It will be p***ed to my son someday. I feel like he's close by every time I drive it, work on it, etc. Enjoy it and cherish it.

My dad p***ed on fourth of July too. I guess they wanted us to celebrate every year, eh?

He always loved fireworks so it seems appropriate. Yes, we shoot off the biggest and best one for him each year.

Welcome and sorry for your loss. So cool that Dad will always be riding shotgun with you!
Great looking 32. Love the chop.
Looks like the rear axle is positioned a couple of inches too far forward? Rear wheels don't look centered in the fenders...

You're a lucky guy having a dad that showed you how to build and maintain a hot rod--not many of us had such luck. In most instances the story behind the car is as interesting as the car itself.

Sorry for your loss brother. I just lost my Dad last year as well and its a big hole. It's your car now to be the caretaker of. Honour the memory and enjoy the car for what it is.

Please accept my condolences on the loss of your Father. Mine p***ed 23 years ago and I still miss him dearly. Pretty rare a Pop has the great taste to acquire and keep a deuce coupe and more rare he has the sense to p*** it along to his kid at just the right time.
Enjoy the heck out of that living breathing tribute to a great Dad.
Kinda like contending a supermodel has a flaw, but...
