I have been checking out the HAMB for awhile now but haven't posted anything until now. Im a young family man who lives in Palm Desert, California. Right now I am driving a 1954 Chevy 210 2 door and regularly drive it to El Centro (90+ miles each way). Even did it this summer with no a/c. Grew up in El Centro, CA in a family with an appreciation of old cars. One of my best memories was my 1965 Malibu named Slow and Low, and jumping it on the ditch bank with friends (just popped a big wheelie) all it suffered was a buckled fender, dont make them like that anymore.
Welcome Todd. We're almost neighbors. I love the desert but man it gets wicked hot in July/August. Have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. Oh, dig those tumble weed snow mans too.
