Hello to all, Just joined your site, I have a small restoration shop near Polk city, FL. Work on muscle cars and Hot Rods of all types. Have been in aviation/aerospace most of my career. Former Eastern Airlines mechanic, then spent 26 years as a space shuttle technician, hold an airframe and powerplant license from the FAA but now mostly hang out in the shop and do metal work and engine transplants. So greetings, hope to fit in here. My first question is: can anyone help ID this old Lakewood ****tershield? I only have a partial number because they printed it on a chromy sticker that immediately wiped off as soon as I touched it with a cloth. I will put up a photo of the tag. Thanks!
Welcome from E. Tennessee. There are lots of folks on here with aircraft experience, so I believe you'll fit in just fine.
