I just joined the group. I live in Georgia about 35 miles south of Atlanta. I just started a 1954 Ford convertible. The body will remain stock. I have installed fatmans front end on it. A 5.0 HO Ford with a AOG trans will supply the power. Right now I' installing new floor boards. If anyone is interested I have the orginal 239 engine and overdrive transmisson. I don,t know anthing about the internals of either one, as the car sat for many years.

Welcome to the group ! If you are looking for any parts just ask here first . never know what we all have stashed in the garages ! Sounds like you are really getting a great start on your car . The 5.0 with the AOD is a great choice for a engine and trans set up . That will pull the car around just fine and that AOD will do you very nice on the long highway trips ! Gotta see some pictures when you have some . Jim
