Hi have read your stuff for a long time but never got involved. Decided i should as much as I have read lately. In the process of putting my first steal body 30 ford coupe together. Have been a hot rodder since the early 70's. Yes back when you could buy a chevelle for 500.00 and drive it. Miss those days! At the present time I have a 59 chevy 3100 I've owned for 18 years. A 61 corvair panel van, 10 triumph motorcycles, 2 nortons, 2 bsa and an Indian. All run! Yes i'm a gear head. Live for my toys. Never thought I would have a coupe but the chance came last fall when an old gent offered it to me as he was terminally ill. His request was to get it on the road. Tried hard but he died last week and all I have left is to wire and start it up. Feel bad I could not get it done in time to give him a ride. Cash had slowed me some, but it takes time to build a highboy coupe. I believe in doing things myself even if I have to pick up a manual and learn. Like this thread, it has helped me along the way of building this coupe. Read RodZ and Car Kulture deluxe. Big Fan, Thanks much to the people who keep this site going. Bob
This was a couple weeks ago, Left the doors off for doing the wiring. Hope to have the wiring done in a week. Then doors and windshield on and fire it up. Painted myself, put most of it together myself. Was fun getting the body on the frame with no extra hands.
Welcome, and thanks for the pictures. Great job! If you look up the word { Fun } in the dictionary. You see a picture of a model A coupe. lol Ron...
