Hello Everyone! I have been watching HAMB now for awhile and have finally decided to join up myself. I am also a brand NEW GRANDFATHER too! My Grandson is now 10 weeks old and to me, is very beautiful! However, I still catch myself looking in the mirror trying to find a hair on my bald head to comb and say to myself....Grandfather?? Anyway, I am into old cars and trucks. I have a couple 1962 Chevy Impala`s and my wife has a 62 Belair Wagon, and of course..my Rusty 57 GMC truck. I drive my GMC to work nearly everyday. I have BIG PLANS for it as soon as my wife can get a second job. (I can see that happening) HA! I hope to make some new friends and maybe trade out some ideas and parts as well. Thanks for reading this intro and I am always willing to listen to thoughts and hearing about anyone who just might have 1962 Chevy Impala or Belair Parts and 57 GMC parts too! Thanks!

Here is a shot of the front of my dads 57'. He has it built for off road because he likes to camp and hike the mountains here in Calif.

Man, that is one NICE Truck! I think that is the original color mine is supposed to be. As nice as your Dad`s truck is, I guess I have went in the opposite direction and have tried to see to it that my GMC is as worn-out, beat-up, and looking straight from the 50`s as I can make it look. Of course, most of that look was done all by itself! I have WIDE WHITEWALL TIRES on it and it is lowered. The chrome looks good at 15 Ft. and the paint is all or nearly all RUST. I will try to Post a Picture when I can fiqure it out. Thanks!

Yes, we can say, "SLAMMED". Would you dad have any leftover parts from his truck that he might have gathered up over the years? Thanks!
