Hello everybody. I've been searching and reading posts for a short while now as I just joined. I was reading here that i should introduce myself. I'm Chris, an electrical engineer for AT&T with a few old cars and one of them is a 1929 Ford Model A highboy made to duplicate that which is featured in the Bishop and Tardel book on how to build a traditional Ford hot rod. The rear end is currently apart, way, way apart, from the missing front drive shaft bearing and mashed speedo gears, to finding lots of metal in the Halibrand 201, so I'm replacing lots of parts. Here's a photo of it on its first outing of the year at a local show. I'm looking forward to meeting lots of cool people (I do own a Studebaker, and as they say in the Studebaker Driver's Club, "We invented cool"... lol) Anyway I thoroughly enjoy reading the posts and questions and answers and hope someday I can contribute! Thanks and hope to chat with a bunch of you soon! c
