My name is Don. Ive been working on cars with my father and brother since I've been a kid. I am now 55 working on a 1950 cadillac project with my son. We just picked it up 3 weeks ago. Started taking it apart we are going to chop it 3-4 inches, shave handles and all emblems and, put an 80 Impala front frame section under the car to get it low and have modern steering and suspension. I am a fomer body shop owner now I get to work on my own cars in my 3 car garage at home. Looking forward to learning more from fellow members. Im glad I finally took the time to join The HAMB.

Welcome Don from Scot in middle Georgia. It is a great thing to have a father/son build. I know he will cherish it forever as I do now. Sounds like an awesome build as well. Good luck with it and post some build pics. Cheers
