It's my real name. I've had grease and dirt under my nails since I was 15, 38 years, and I still don't know it all. I apprenticed in Dad's garage, a parts warehouse, too many tool shops, engine shops and a short stint at the Ford Museum and Greenfield Village. My most recent project is a 29 A rpu.no fenders. no hood. no bed. little chrome. 16" wires. V8 banjo rear with Winters QC center. 1/4 elliptics all around. split bones. 2.3 Turbo Ford/T-5 for power--Hey it was free!! I found the HAMB link in R&C and have been spending way too much time here to not be a member. You have already helped a lot with my project, and I hope I can help some of you. Thanks. Dan
Welcome, Dan!! Sounds like a killer little RPU (more like a modified with the no bed thing!) goin' on there! Whereabouts in Motown do ya live?? (Dearborn for me!)
Welcome aboard, Dan! I admire any HAMBER brave enough to use his real name! Seriously though, it's good to have another FNG on the board! Maybe we can talk Ryan into renting out a giant Sports Arena somewhere & we could all get together in one place this summer! Bench race. Talk shop. whatever! Hope to see some pics of whatever wheels you've got! Remember Folks:....it's ALWAYS HAMBER-TIME!
Welcome Dan, still waiting for pics of that project. I am your rear radius rod guy from Terre Haute. Bob
Dan- Welcome to the 'board. Let's hope this weather gets warm enough so we can get those cars out soon.
