Been awhile since I have posted, but thought I would let everyone know Offenhauser is working on many new items. The first item is the 10" air cleaner for four barrel carbs. Currently working on pricing.
Glad to here they're still in business. I remember a thread a few years ago they were having problems.
Also new is the Ford 240 - 300 6 cylinder aluminum valve cover!!! Currently accepts stock valve train, but taller version for roller rockers coming soon!
Wish they'd cast a period looking dual quad intake for the early Chrysler Hemi. Since the wizards at Holley took over Weiand and discontinued the Weiand 7263 piece, there is now nothing available but the very modern looking Hot Heads offering.
Yeah, there is still demand for the EarlyHemi parts. A t-stat manifold like the Olds part would be good. What is the current status of the Dodge 241 intakes?
Nice to hear. It is good to see fresh life from early companies that basically created a lifestyle for some of us. And so many good memories and times.
To be very specific, one that fits behind and clears for a Blower Drive belt. I'm right there and would be a buyer.
Good to see they are still doing things. I look over their old catalog and drool, but nothing is available.
& 31Vic-w/a-Hemi has a pattern already done. It's what the guys need. I'm pretty sure he'd help you out Marcus... Someday, maybe, a decent 2-2 & also 4bbl intake for the "large" port Stude v8? (Pipe dream... ).
Offenhauser is working on early Hemi items. Here is the 8x2 log manifold. Can be drilled for three bolt Stromberg/Holley carbs or small pattern four bolt 2 bbl carbs.
Not quite what you asked for, but they are starting to reproduce early Hemi trans adapters. Currently, the 51-53 Hemi to Packard is available (may be on backorder).
I wish they would start making the Gen-I Olds to early Ford trans adapter again like Wilcap used to offer. Some nice stuff here though, good to see stuff like this coming out
One or 2 a year.. so not a big seller I’m sure. We are lucky anyone is casting any new or copies of old speed equipment. I’m sure they are looking at what will sell and what’s there that others have done a sitting on shelves. It’s a tough place right now and if machined in the USA not inexpensive. I would like to see some of the old carburetor adapters since Offy made so many of them, but with carburetor obsolescence I’m guessing they won’t happen.
Most carburetor adapters are still available. https://www.whiteowlspeed.com/product-category/adapters/
So glad to see them thriving and moving forward. It can't be easy these days, material delivery problems, finding good help, and the small niche market. Thanks for hanging in there.
