new old fart

Hello everyone. Introduction time. I am 65 years old. Been doin cars for 50 years. My current project is a 53 Studebaker Starlight Commander. I think it is called "period correct" now. I guess to me it's just old school hot rod. Engine is Studebaker with 3 speed O/D trans. Gears 4.55. Intake is Offenhauser. Ignition is Mallory. Plug wires are Packard 440. Wire ends are Rajah. Carburetor is Stromberg Aeroquad. Mufflers are Smithy's. Jack stands are 40 Ford rear axle housings. Do I qualify for this forum? Tex
