I've been thinking about joining for a while now. I'm a retired "shop teacher" from Gillette, where I taught for 31 years. Everything from electronics to cars to machining. I've got several old cars, and have always loved 'em. Right now I have a '63 Ranchero driver, a '64 Econoline pickup that's almost done, a '61 Willys mail van that's in a million pieces and for sale, and a '47 Chevy COE stashed at a buddy's place in SD. Just possible I might be tool old to get 'em all built! I currently manufacture custom shifter knobs for cars, which is rapidly becoming another full time career. I didn't join to hawk shifter knobs, but to enjoy conversation with other like-minded folks. I look forward to that, and to finding some time to work on all my old stuff, maybe with a little inspiration from you folks. REgards, Koolknobs
Howdy neighbor... join the wyoming HAMBers social group...and lets see these shift knobs, cause I need one for my 54 Buick
Hey, everybody who drives something cool needs a shifter knob! The site is www.koolknobs.com, so check it out! I've been looking around for a '54 car or truck to swap for one or more of my vehicles... I'm a '54 myself.
Haven't been to Gillette in years, used to haul mining equipment in and out of E.M.S.! Anyway, welcome from Arkansas....
