Greetings from southern NM. At 68 I am building a car to attempt to reach 200 MPH at the salt flats. Mostly traditional as a quick change and I beam axle. Also building a 27 Ford touring hot rod. Mostly stock body with a 1965 283 cu in chevy engine with 3 deuces. The engine was a real find. Very low miles. No ridge and completely unmolested. Rebuilt with stock pistons and crank. The 1947 Buick Roadmaster body is a New Mexico rust free body and best of all it was free. I would really like to restore the Buick. But I have more yesterdays than tomorrows. LOL
Welcome to the HAMB, and I hope you get to the 200MPH mark. I'm 65 and don't think either of my projects will ever get finished. Bob
