So I bought someone else's project (oops, I know better, but...) and I believed what the man's son said about it---another oops. Anyway, I like the car and am slowly moving along to getting a street cruiser on the road. It came with a partly-disassembled 302 and C4. Original diff and no driveshaft. It had water in the pan but that hadn't reached the crank so I drained and re-filled it. The intake was off, no spark plugs, for 6 years, car sitting in the woods. So I pulled the heads and checked for cracks---found a mud-dauber nest in #8 and only slight rust in 2 cylinders which cleaned up nicely. I could go on and on but I'm boring you folks already. I do need to know which forum I should post to, maybe the OT one?
