Hi all: My name is Ken, from Huron, South Dakota. Looked around on this site, and decided it was interesting. Bear with me, because at 76 years young, I am computer and forum stupid. I have been interested in all hotrod activities, but still go for the 50s shade tree, low budget type rods that we put together with what we could find. Have performed a few engine swaps, lowering, juiced up a 50 Olds with a modified 371, J2 and recently tried my luck at body work, which worked fair. All self taught. I consider myself semi retired, as I still do some dirt construction. I have more units to work on than my lifespan will probably allow. Presently working on sawing a GMC 270 into my 49 Chev car. Hope to find help here. Thank You All in advance.
Age is just a number. We are as young as we feel and when I am playing with my cars I feel great. Like your choice of cars and that you are self taught. I attended the university of life too. Best education and I am still learning. Welcome from New York.
Welcome from Tulsa, Oklahoma. Never too old to enjoy life. I had a buddy that I rode Harleys with that was 92 and still riding. Sharp as a tack until he tripped at home and hit his head then never made it out of the hospital. He knew how to live and I try to emulate his philosophy on life. Glad to have you here on the HAMB.
Thank You All for the warm welcome. Don't know how to get around in here yet, but time will tell. Hope to be able to add a few tidbits now and then and will certainly gain much needed knowledge. Never too old to learn. Thanks Again
