Hello all, I am new to this site but a life long hot rodder. I run a 1951 CJ3A jeep w/sb ford, a 51 CJ3A sand drag jeep w/BBC, a 67 cobra replica w/FE motor, and my GMC duramax. The only unmolested vehicle I own is my wife's LX470. I have six more motors in the garage that are not in cars, and my house needs painting. I am a true motor head. Maybe I can hang with you folks for a while. I think of myself as young at 42 but Bob Joehnck always calls me an old guy.
I will have to dig up pictures of that Jeep. It is commonly refered to as POS because of the abuse I give it. I have plenty of pictures of the race jeep and Cobra (the shiny toys) I bought the jeep with thew 351w and kept saying I would replace it with a sb Chevy when it died. I have been abusing that motor for 12 years with no failures. I have since rebuilt the Jeep around the ford so it will have to stay. I will find some pictures to post soon. Tim
Welcome/ Did you say 42? I've got a sweatshirt that old. But I only have one motor in the shop that needs a car, so WTF. Make yourself at home.
