    Hey Everyone,

New H.A.M.B.er here, not an old guy, just cl***ic. Have read & and researched questions that I have had, but never joined. I thought I would give it a try.
About a year ago I moved from Utah to Florida for some family needs. I am not a 1948 vintage person, I had a 48 Anglia when I was in Utah. I, with the help of my really good friend Roger, and the tig welding talent of Lance, were returning it to it's G***er glory (16x12 slots & slicks on the rear & 4x15 spindle mounts on the front). Sadly, cir***stances prevented it making the trip, but you do what you have to do sometimes.
Just dried my tears. The stars came into alignment and I was able to pick up a clean 2 owner 39 Willy's sedan which is completely ORIGINAL except for the paint which was done about 1974. Everything works on it, and the 53,000 miles on the speedo appear to be correct, it is a real survivor.
I love g***ers, but it is way to nice to cut, but I'm thinking of some real creative ways to g***er it, but might explore some other ways to come up with a g***er.
Looking forward to it's debut at the Turkey Run in Daytona, Thanksgiving weekend. First time for me, anybody got any tips?
Anymore and this could become a biography, so long friends.

    Vin
