Hello all. I am an old rodder restoring the Cad powered 29 A that I originally built in 1960. Have been carrying the parts around since about 72, with the hopes of getting it back together some day. That day is arriving. Would like to hear noise from any other Cad lovers.

  2. Welcome to the Hamb. Great site and theres alot of people here from WA and alot of people that like Caddy power. Im going to be running an old baby hemi and my next choice is pontiac with a caddy in 3rd . I had an Eldorado Convert with a 500 cid engine and that thing would motivate the 5000 tank with ease. I now wish I still had it but......... Anyway hope this site gives you motivation and hope to see your car on the road someday. I like the different power plants other than Fords and Chevys.

Thank you Rabid for the welcome. Yeah i'm with you. I really like Chevy engines, but sure get tired of seeing one in everything on wheels. Guess the old Caddy wouldn't make the horsepower of one of those modern engines, but they are dependable, and sound good, and sure neat to look at. The engine is back together and on a dolly in my shop, the rest of the car is still in pieces here and there.
What are you putting the hemi in? I had a few of them when I was a young man, but never did get one in anything. I like them almost as much as my Cadillac. Thank you for the encouragement.
