    Hello all,

I wanted to start of by saying every time I Google a question about my project this forum is the first to appear. I live in Lebanon, Oregon and have a 1953 3100 with a S10 frame. I bought it in pieces, as I though to myself, "How can I make this harder?". I plan to drop a SBC in, I have a couple 283 blocks and an old cast iron powerglide hanging around needing something to do.

Well back to myself, I was a mechanic for about a decade after I graduated from Pittsburg State University w/ a BST in Auto Tech. Moved to Colorado, changed careers with another degree (Colorado Mesa University) in environmental science that eventually lead me to Oregon. Have a 2yo son and a very patient girlfriend. I grew up in a car family, going to the drag strip every weekend. Mainly a Chevy household, my first car was a 71' Chevelle w/ 383 stroker. I am a former Marine and volunteer EMT/Firefighter, and hope to continue the latter with my local department.

    Thanks,
    Jon
