    Hello,

I am working on a 1949 Ford (226 Flathead) 6 cylinder truck engine. Does anyone have a good dealer or source for new piston rings?

    Thanks for the help!

Job Lot in N.Y, Egge, probably your local "Hard core" automotive shop. Most Automotive machine shops have access to oddball engine parts.

I bought all of the engine parts for my 226 at Kanter Auto Parts. I cannot remember what part of the northeast they are located, but they have a good website. They sell old original NOS stuff, not import junk.
