My name is Jay, currently located in Tricities, WA. I’ve lived all over the US and many other countries, also. I’m 30 years old/young and I can’t stand my generation, people want things given to them, without knowing what hard work is. I’ve earned everything I have and i do not like handouts (unless it’s knowledge of course). I currently own a 59 Chevrolet Apache 3200. Just dropped in a 454 HP, a little over being considered a “moderate” build. Behind it is a th400 (lokar floor shifter) and a rebuild 12 bolt rear( 3.42 - posi ). This is my dream truck (minus not being a big back window) my grandfather owned a 59 back in the day and ever since, I’ve wanted my own. I love the lines and stance of the TF trucks and I believe they are the best looking rigs GM ever produced.[emoji7] Other than than my retro sound radio, drop axle/drop springs/ and gauge cluster, it’s pretty much bone stock. I’ve recently started the disc conversion and it’s proving to be a pain in my ***. I’ve learned a lot on the forum and really want to learn more. My first real cl***ic, and I’ll have her until the day i die. I’ve always enjoyed cl***ic cars, helping others with exhaust systems and fabrication has always been something that I’m extremely good at. I’m a Union SteamFitter Welder by day, so i have a pretty good knowledge of engineering/geometry and metallurgy. I work at a Nuclear Reservation (Hanford) so my knowledge of things in the Nuclear Feild is also pretty extensive. If I don’t know something, I’m not afraid to ask someone with more knowledge than me, I don’t consider myself a master mechanic or anything even close.
