New process that might be adaptable for attaching wood in hot rods

    Came across a picture of a process that I thought might be adaptable for attaching the wooden parts that we need inside our old cars for upholstery and stuff. If it works as well as the picture looks, it should save us a lot of time. Don't have any details yet, all I could find was a picture of the finished results. I'm not sure if the process is adaptable to all types of wood, or just certain ones.

    The "stick" welding rods are probably really expensive.:D

    Especially good for pressure treated wood it appears.

  14. You have to use the correct rods for timber welds- there are ones made specifically for hard wood and those for soft wood.

    Looks legit. I'd prime and paint it as you don't want it to get rusty.
