  10. Danny,

When you come to the swap Saturday, let's talk- I may have someone who might be able to help you lose that 4 and gain a great flathead 8! He is extremely well-respected in the flathead community down here in GA!!!

HRP just has a way of scoring cool cars, it's been do***ented! :D
Once you get your 'fitment' issues sorted, that thing's just a 283 away from calling done in my book.
    Simplicity is bliss, congrats Danny!

    Hello Danny.
Mickey C here. I am in need of a motor for my
original 31 Model A. That motor looks like it
would do nicely. That is very nice coupe you
have there. Please keep me in mind if you do
decide to p*** along the banger. Thanks.

I had a long talk with Andy,my fellow Tri-City Rod & Custom club member and local Flathead guru last night about building me a flathead and my original plan might have gone out the window.

With the hefty price of building the flathead I am rethinking the whole project.

I have a 283 and a 327 sbc block and can build one of them for a third the cost of the flatty.

With that in mind,I would end up using a automatic transmission, yeah,I know if it ain't got 3 pedals it ain't a hot rod but due to a motorcycle accident years go my clutch leg don't work to well and there is a 9" Bronco rear axle with the correct bolt pattern in the corner of the shop.

If I go this route I believe I can get the car up and running much sooner than later. HRP
