Projects New project 32

JUST THOUGHT I WOULD SHARE SOME PICTURES OF THE 32 SEDAN I GOT HERE ON THE HAMB. THE OWNER POSTED IT LAST TUESDAY NIGHT AND WE PICKED IT UP THE NEXT NIGHT. HERE WAS THE AD:

i have for sale a super rust free 1932 ford 2 door. all original 4 banger with a cracked head. car is as rust free as you find and complete as you will ever find.has front fender damage. in storage most of its live. last inspected in 1968. if you are serious and looking for a super 32 2 door rod project or a super car to restore i have it.

IM SURE SOME OF YOU SAW THE AD, BUT NEVER SAW THE PICTURES. IT TURNED OUT TO BE A REALLY NICE ORIGINAL COMPLETE CAR. ONLY ONE SMALL RUST SPOT BEHIND THE REAR DRIVER WHEEL. WE LEFT AT 6 THE NEXT NITE, AND GOT HOME AT 3 IN THE MORNING, BUT IT WAS WELL WORTH IT. THANKS AGAIN "BIG FATTY", IT WAS A PLEASURE MEETING YOU. ENJOY

 

When I saw the ad it was already sold,,,looks like you got a nice one,,,and I like the color,,congrats. HRP

 

Beat that fender straight and take those horrible orange marker lights off, and it's pretty much done.

Can I have the motor if you're not going to use it?

 

What state was it in? Since it was advertised here, what did it go for?

I saw that ad and wondered how "nice" it really was. Looks like the seller was spot on and I remember the price was too good to believe. Good score and keep us posted on what ever you decide to do with it.

No real plans yet, it is too nice and complete to fully tear it apart and do what i really want to do, but who knows. It'll probably sit for a little while till i finish up another project. I do have a hemi sitting around though, so it might end up in there someday. We'll see.
