I just scored this 33 chevy truck conversion. it was done during the war to take advantage of the gas rationing advantage of a truck over a car. hasn't ran since the 50s. I'm planning on a chop and channel with 4 bar up front and bags in the back on a Zeed chassis. My first rod :)

i thought the style number is what year it was.

making this truck a 35. but i could very well be wrong.

It is a 35 for sure. But lets see the dash.

Not sure if it's a '34 or '35, because of the i-beam front axle it's a standard model and from the short front door I think it was either a 5 window coupe or a 4-door sedan. hope this helps.

The first 2 digits in the style number make it a 35.

It is definatly a 35 Standard Chevrolet. Most likley started out as a sedan. The dash makes it a Standard. And by the way of the rear window panel being as it looks from the pic. As long and flat as it seems. I would think it came from a sedan.
