  1. Oh my, what a beauty, I have never eyeballed a 36 Olds coupe before. What an amazing find. Congrats on the find and good luck keeping it original. ~sololobo~

Thanks. Yes it will be kept stock. This winter I'll yank the motor and freshen it up and redo the clutch. Need to fix wiper motor and heater, mess with wood in the doors to get them to close better(never done this, should be fun) and tighten up the interior. It runs great now and the more I drive it the better i like it. I saw in the local "Cruzin" magazine up here in Seattle a guy in Lacey, WA has a 36 straight 8 he redid, anyone know him? I'd like to get ahold of him. Maybe Goodguys this weekend.

Very nice oldsmobile you have. I have a 1936 pontiac and the two cars shared the same body that year. Sheet metal is not available for these. I am trying to find someone that would be willing to trace on paper, the area below the trunk lid and between the right and left rear fender. I have contacted EMS and every other sheet metal supplier and they only make Chevy and Ford. I know that it is a lot to ask but it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance. My Email address is bhutson@suddenlink.net.

I know it may be a shame to do....but 2 inches outa that top. Really mild, but would make those lines flow so good!
