Thats what most of my friends say but its early in the build and I would rather sort it all out now legally than after I have a lot of money invested. All I have now is a bunch of parts but its time to get a title in my name.

Rusty1: I'm not sure what I need to do different. I never look at this site on a phone, only a computer. That may make it look different. I'll try to do different. PM me with a solution.

    I assisted......
I went back to your posts / edited to created some paragraphs to make it easier to read.....

    This Is A Example:

Joe and I changed the oil and filter. We had a heck of a time getting that filter off but with some extra effort it loosened up. The old oil looked nasty. Always a good feeling with fresh clean oil / filter.

The radiator was another story. After we remove it noticed the lower tank and neck had a crack in it, so definitely need to get it to the shop / boiled out / replaced - fixed. Glad I caught the crack. Missing it would have been not good.

So basically when you change from one step to another start a new paragraph by hitting enter so it tabs down to leave a dead space from the subject sentences. That creates a new paragraph.

    Hope that helps.

I got a message on another site and was told these bolts were for an accessory cattle guard for the front. I never knew such a thing existed. I wont need that but I welded up the corners and restored the enlarged holes to original size. I also worked on about a half dozen holes that were enlarged with a torch. I got the frame cleaned up and painted tonight.

My HAMB buddy Flyinandride has been using Rustoleum X2 Automotive Grade on his chassis and I gave it a try. I like the results. The frame had been cleaned up and painted by a PO but it needed some cleaning and touch up. I closed up the bad holes that were put in with a torch and have it painted.

I'm close to being ready to mount the engine and trans into the frame. The plan is to get the rolling chassis with the engine it so I can break in the engine and make sure there isn't a problem with the cam and lifters. I'm spooked by all the bad reports on cams. I don't remember that ever being a problem back in the HAMB days. IMG_0622.jpg IMG_0623.jpg

Work got in the way but I did manage to get the engine all together and I'm ready to mount the engine and trans in the frame. If anyone has a measurement from one of the front or middle crossmember rivets to some place on the engine on a SBF in a 53-56 frame it would be a big help. I would like to have it in the right place when I put the cab on.
