the pic of the wheel is a whole set off of an AMC that came with the car which i will clean up and sell off as i wont be using them
Great find and buy! Well done. Will you start a build thread? Look forward to it and all the pics. Good luck and enjoy.
Found a couple pics of the 40 my buddy did..similar bodys but the nose is obviously different, I think he used a 41 hood on this...anyway the car came out nice and thought it would give you some build inspirations!! Good luck!
Very nice, the plymouth coupe is one of the nicest looking cars of it's time. 360 with a 727 or 518 out of a pickup or van will be nice in there, lots of power, very reliable. You asked which years, any year will work great. Just beware of the timing chain - before you put it in the car change it out for a double roller, the stock silent chain ****s - it will probably need a gasket set anyway, so easily done.
these are great cars.. not just some over-done ford or chevy.. i have a 48 dodge town sedan that i'm working on .. had front end photoshopped to keep me motivated..
Thanks..it was good to see it hit the road, I saw the complete build and it was a project for sure. My buddy who painted mine did most all of this and the body/paint. There s nothin ugly about these old mopars Pugs, Im a fan of em and your now the proud owner of one! Time to start a cool *** build, (I have more pics also if interested).
Build it!!! Search here for threads on these Mopar beauties. If you can be picky, get a Magnum 360 with the roller cam. Research them for build info and intake stuff. With the new stuff going to rollers and the zinc and other stuff getting pulled out of oil, that would be a smart way to go.
