    Mike Couch driving the blown and injected flathead '32 roadster posted a 12.63 @ 104mph during the qualifying runs of the Flathead Meltdown last weekend, for a new Meltdown record. This was on bias-ply tires, full street trim and pump gas.

    That is an awesome sounding AND RUNNING flathead. Thanks for posting the run. BTW, did you notice there was a Chevy in the other lane? Wonder how he feels being shut down by an obsolete old relic.

    last time i weighed the car is it 2390 Ib

    but i have changed the rear axle to a winters quick change and its lighter than the old 9" ford
